Redding Poker Club’s Hall of Fame

We’ve been playing now for a few years so we have some champions among us.  If you keep up with the players then you know that it’s consistency that pays off but there are other aspects too.  If you get put out early and only end up with 1 point, then it’s just about like taking the night off altogether.  One might think the most important thing is to never give up.

That being said, we’re competitive and we have a good time doing it.  At the time of this article it’s the beginning of 2019 and everyone is even.  It feels good!

Now without any further ado, here are you RPC Points Champions.

2017 – Scott Voorhees.  He’s one of our most competitive players and helps to set the bar when it comes to the level of skill that it takes to play in this group.  Scott is obviously one of the best players in the RPC and in 2017 he WAS the best!

2018 – Josh Eastman.  We changed things up a bit in 2018 and decided to have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the points.  It’s certainly fitting since it could have been any one of these three.  2nd place went to Clyde Tibbett and 3rd went to Nate Santana.  Josh has always been a fierce competitor.  We learned a lot from him last year.  Great job Josh!
