February Game at Andrews

The RPC met at one of our newer members and favorite players Andrew’s place. It was a modest size game with 16 players. Andrew’s wife Bridget, was a gracious host and made some amazing chicken soup and sourdough bread for us all to refuel on at the first break. Multiple hosts are what the RPC is all about and Andrew and Bridget’s place was a great example of the fun we have.

The coolest hand of the night might have to be this one. A straight flush by Tony Hord. If a hand like this won’t build momentum, I don’t know what will.

Here’s a glimpse of the final table. This is when hopes are high for every player. Anything can happen and usually does. However, this might be a good time to Thank Tom for breaking the bubble.

And here you have it, the winners circle! We wrapped it up just before midnight with 3 money filled envelopes. Sometimes you can’t catch Don. When he’s hot you’d better adjust your game. Congrats Don, on the win! Number 2 wend to Tony Hord. He could have probably done better but he was so happy with 2nd that he went all in on a queen five. Rich brings in 3rd place in style. As long as you’re in the circle, you’re cool.

Here are the latest standings for the club. We had some movement for sure! Tom played well enough to keep the lead. Tony played well enough to move up to 2nd place. Nate mustered up enough points to occupy 3rd.

We’re playing at Natron’s next month so get ready for the big one! Nate don’t mess around. If you love playing with the Redding Poker Club then give us a review. It’s just for fun. We don’t really care. We love our members though.
